Expect nothing

AMA pool party, that's what they called it. The first time I heard it, oh well its nothing but a pool party- a boring pool party just like last year's. The venue is still the same, Green nature at nagcarlan, laguna but something was add- the foam party.

Then something came up, my club was invited by our School Director to play a song before the party begins. Our Club named Jesus' fans club since we are all a followers of Jesus, we built this club to make diciple in all AMA students.

And then we had meeting and practices, at our meeting, we talked about the song we must play and it was 'Turn it up by Planetshakers' and 'What a beautiful name by Hillsong' and for the addition we add a play so that the other members have a duty to do.

The practice went well, it was so good because I have a good role in our play and a back-up singer in Praise and Worship and all members have a good role too. Oh well it's not about the exposure we had but we're doing this to glory our Lord.

There are two purposes why we need to play in the party. First, we want to glory our Lord Jesus, second, we want to attract another members because basically we only have a few members.

September 29, 2017. Thursday

At exactly 2:00 am, I'd been woke up because it was stated in our meeting so that we can come in the venue earlier before it was started and have a short practice there.

We set a meeting place and our meeting hour is 4:00-5:00 am at Sta. Cruz plaza, but we arrived in the venue at 5:30 am. Because we will dedicated this song to Lord Jesus, so we expect the works of enemy but not  in this early moment. The room we had take our instruments is closed and the person who had the keys is not yet arriving so we take a talk about it and prayed. We searched for what cottage we had been taking our things and later on we're now setting up our instruments in front of stage, it was said in the meeting that the party will start at exactly 8:00 am, and we only have 30 minutes to play for our performances (7:30-8:00 am). It was okay on us, at least we had given a time because the actual plan is we don't really belong in the program.

On our actual praise and worship, it was started at 8:30 am and we must played three songs that shook us because we only had 2 practice song, so we add one way by Hillsong for our warm up. When we are singing, the student council stopped us because we already contain our time as they'd said even though its not yet 30 minutes but because we are praising Jesus-Christ, not them, we don't stop. And we don'r really care even all the audience is standing up and leave the area. I'm crying inside. Why? Because it was their chance to accept Jesus.

But what makes us disappointed is the play we prepare is cancel due of the late of time of the party started.

But its okay.

To sum it all, I enjoyed the party with my club not like last year I was alone in the stage watching the DJs speaking nonsense.

I love this Jesus Fans Club. I love this party.

We may not expect this works of enemy but the grace of Lord went to all of us. The party went well.

We practiced.

We prayed.

We disappointed.

We enjoyed.

We prayed.

Everything happens have a reasons and this is not the end of everything.

But the start of our journey.
